short intro

This Filipino skewer is a popular street food and can be found at almost every street corner in the Philippines, starting from dusk till late night. The sweet, smokey, tangy flavor is perfect for summer barbeques and the soy curls are reminiscent of the texture of chicken. This version is pan fried, so you can make it any time. This is best paired with atsara (pickled papaya), onion/garlic vinegar-soy sauce, java rice, garlic rice, or just plain rice!
